Club team Spring 2025

KC Field Hockey is excited to offer club travel opportunities starting Spring 2025.

Teams:

We have 6 age groups:

U8 - Birth year 2017/2018 (play 8v8) (born after July 2016 sign up for U8)

U10 - Birth year 2015/2016 (play 8v8) (born after July 2014 sign up for U10)

U12 - Birth year 2013/2014 (play 8v8) (born after July 2012 sign up for U12)

U14 - Birth year 2011/2012 (play 8v8 or 11v11) (born after July 2010 sign up for U14)

U16 - Birth year 2009/2010 (play 11v11) (born after July 2008 sign up for U16)

U19 - Birth year 2006/2007/2008 (play 11v11)

Tournaments:

We will participate in two tournaments this Spring:

- May 10th/11th: We will participate in the Regional Cup in St. Louis. (min. 3 games)

- May 17th: Gateway club teams from St. Louis & Jayhockey from Lawrence will come to Kansas City to play our U8, U10, U12 and U14 teams. 

Practices:

We are planning to practice two days a week on Wednesday and Friday 6-7pm or 7-8pm.

Cost:

$300

This includes:

- Tournament fees 2x

- Coaches fees

- 6 hours of practices

Uniforms:

To give you the opportunity to costumize your uniform, choose your own number and you can add your name! 

We ask that you order your uniform through this link in the team store. (please note there is a 3 week turn around)

You only need to purchase once and you can use it for future events. 

The uniform consists of two jerseys (home/away) and a skort/shorts. (we will order the sleeves for shin guards separately for you) 

Team selection:

If there is more than 1 team per age group, we will separate the players by ability so that they play at their level during the tournaments. 

Hotel & travel

Hotel and travel are on your own, we will share hotels that we will stay at that have group rates and are close to the venue in St. Louis.

Cancelations:

In case we do not have enough players to field a team, we will cancel and refund your registration. We might combine U16 & U19.
